Our eyecare services
Hindsight may be 20/20, but foresight is everything. We take the time to understand your complete vision needs to provide the clarity you deserve in every moment of your life. While the eye exam can tell us about your vision now, our complete check-ups map your health history into the future. That’s 20/20.

“Love this place. They have a great selection of hip eyewear and the staff there is very knowledgeable and patient. Dr. Wong was very thorough and took the time to explain the exam results as well as offer advice on maintaining optimal eye health.”
Dr. Jason Wong, Optometrist
Jason put on his first pair of glasses at the age of eight — what a difference it made. Everything came into focus. This experience led him to realize the importance of seeing clearly and inspired him to want to help others with their vision.
“To make such an impact on people’s lives
on a daily basis is very rewarding.”
Jason holds degrees from UBC and Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Since 2004, he has proudly owned and operated West End Optometry.
Dr. Monisha Lal, Optometrist
When Monisha was considering her career path, her love for biology and interacting with people led her to optometry. Monisha remembers everyone’s names and stories, and it’s her signature love and care that fosters long-term relationships with the community. She takes pride in bringing the human care into medicine.
“It is extremely fulfilling to provide someone with their first glasses or contacts. You see their full transformation. It’s really an honour to be given the opportunity.”
Monisha has an undergraduate degree from UBC and graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, OR.

Dr. Tiffany Chan, Optometrist
Tiffany found her calling in optometry, fuelled by her passion for helping people and a curiosity for cutting-edge technology. She sees every conversation with her patients as a way to ensure that they have a shared vision of their journey.
“It is fulfilling to earn the trust of my patients and to empower them to improve ocular health and well-being.”
Tiffany has degrees from UBC and University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and Vision Science.
“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wong's for about five years. He is very competent, knowledgeable and personable. His equipment is state of the art. The staff are very friendly. I love the frames and lenses on my glasses and my contacts are very comfortable. Highly recommended!”
Do you see what I see?
Well, not necessarily. Kids aren’t aware that normal isn’t supposed to be out of focus. Often, it takes early detection for successful corrective treatment. That’s why we highly recommend children have their first eye exam by the age of three. We feel that it’s important that their early experience with optometry is one of fun and comfort to encourage life‑long vision health.
Now how about a game of I Spy?
